Before we dive in. Let me tell you a little bit more about me. My name is Jacqui Money. I live in an off-grid tiny house in South Africa and building a food forest. I’ve got five beautiful dogs. Two of them are giant breed. Yes, I know giant breed dogs in a tiny house. It’s hysterical, a husband named Warren, he’s even more introverted than I am. And I love helping women run and scale big businesses with tiny teams and custom backend systems. That’s what I absolutely love doing. I believe everything can be simpler and easier and tinier so that we can all live bigger, better lives.

Today, I wanted to share a story about one of my clients, Bronwyn, a service provider, and coach who was struggling to grow her business.. She was so in the weeds of her business that she was trying to build her systems and processes on the fly and failing dismally. She was feeling overwhelmed with all the different tasks she had to do and she knew that she needed to find a solid strategy to get her systems and processes implemented but she wasn’t sure where to start.

That’s when she reached out to me for help. We had a conversation about her goals for her business and what she wanted to achieve. I suggested she add a Slingshot Season to her planning for the year.  I helped her understand how important it is to add a Slingshot Season to her goals and how it can help her optimize her backend systems for sustained business growth.

Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is a Slingshot Season? Think of it like pulling back on a slingshot – you’re investing in your business now so that you can release and propel forward later with greater force and momentum for success in your business. With a slingshot season, you can optimize to accelerate and LET GO TO GROW.

After her Slingshot Season, my client was amazed at how much her business had grown. She had more time and energy to focus on her core business activities, and her clients were getting better results than ever before. She was able to take on more clients and increase her revenue without feeling overwhelmed.

We worked together to create a plan for her Slingshot Season. She took some time to step back from her business and focus on optimizing her systems and processes. During this time, we evaluated her existing tools and workflows and identified areas for improvement. We implemented new systems and processes that were tailored to her specific business needs.

The best part was that she didn’t need to hire a huge team to support her. With the right systems and processes in place, she was able to run her business more efficiently.

So, whether you’re starting from scratch or already have customized systems in place, a Slingshot Season can help you take your business to the next level.

Here are my 3 best tips if you want to implement a Slingshot Season in your business

  1. Value yourself and your time enough to optimize your backend for maximum growth
  2. Before you can start optimizing your backend systems, you need to know where you stand. Take some time to evaluate your current processes and tools to identify any areas that are causing bottlenecks or inefficiencies. This will help you focus your efforts where they will have the greatest impact.
  3. Once you’ve identified areas for improvement, create a plan of action to tackle them. Prioritize the most critical tasks and break them down into smaller, manageable steps. Consider setting specific goals and timelines to keep yourself accountable and on track.
  4. Taking on a Slingshot Season can be daunting, so don’t be afraid to reach out for support. Consider working with a systems and automation strategist like me to help guide you through the process.
