Do you find yourself doing the “When are you free” dance with leads and clients? With so many affordable software tools out there, it’s never been simpler to streamline repetitive tasks and save ourselves valuable time.
Hi, I’m Jacqui Money and I’m a systems and automation strategist who works with introverted solopreneurs service providers and coaches to scale their businesses without having to hire a huge team or work more hours just to make more money.
I remember the first tool we invested in like it was yesterday. That tool was acuity scheduling. I also remember the first time I had someone book an appointment without having to send messages back and forth to find what time worked for both of us, and I’ll never ever go back to having to schedule appointments manually ever again.
So if automating your scheduling is of interest to you, then stick around and let me tell you the top 10 reasons why I use and recommend Acuity for scheduling.
#1 Inforamtion Storage
Acuity stores your client’s information. So even if you don’t have a client management system in place, you’ll have all of your leads and client details stored in acuity.
#2 Paid Appointments
Paid appointments. Acuity integrates with Stripe, PayPal, and Square for you to be able to take a paid appointment.
#3 Integrations
Powerful native integrations. So Acuity directly integrates with Zoom, Google Calendar, QuickBooks Active Campaign, Google Sheets, Zapier, and many other tools.
#4 Automation
They have more automation capability with Zapier or make than any other scheduling tools. I always look at how many triggers, actions, and search functions are available for a tool inside of Zapier. Acuity has very robust automation capabilities over some of the other popular scheduling tools
#5 Extra Client Offerings
With acuity, you can offer more than just appointments. You can also offer client memberships, discounts, coupons, gift certificates, packages, group classes, as well as the ability to offer add-ons at checkout.
#6 Advanced availability preferences
Advanced availability preferences. Not only can you set up multiple meetings and days and times you’re available for each, but you can also choose a minimum number of hours before the start time and a maximum number of days. The client can book in advance and you can toggle the client’s ability to reschedule or cancel on or off. Other preference options include choosing start time intervals, looking busy by reducing the number of available appointments, and also asking acuity to minimize gaps.
#7 Embedding
The ability to embed your scheduler on your website so that you are booking appointments on autopilot. This one is so important.
#8 Email reminders
Automate appointment reminders with Acuity emails with up to three reminders, cancellation, and rescheduling emails, as well as follow-up emails.
#9 Intake forms and contracts
Acuity has the ability to attach a form or a contract to an appointment. That way you can let leads or clients fill out a form and agree to your terms before booking an appointment with you.
10. Mobile App
Acuity has a mobile app. This isn’t really a deal breaker for me, but may very well be a deal breaker for you.
I hope this video has helped you see how having a scheduling tool like Acuity can save you loads of time when it comes to booking clients.
